1. Who we are

MexEdge LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, with an office at Av. Revolución 124B, 63728 Sayulita, Nay., Mexico. MexEdge introduces clients to licensed currency partners and coordinates their transactions. We never hold client funds. For questions about this policy, email info@mexedge.com.

2. Information you give us

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share about your plans, through our contact form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp.
  • When you book a call: the details you enter in our booking calendar, which is provided by Calendly.
  • When you become a client: the information and documents needed to open your account with a currency partner and coordinate your transactions, such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, your purchase or construction contract, company documents, and your payment schedule.
  • From your currency partner: with your authorization, your currency partner sends us confirmations of your trades, deposits and transfers so we can coordinate your payments. We cannot access your account or see your balance.

3. Information collected automatically

  • Where you came from: when you send our contact form, it includes the page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a link with campaign information or through one of our referral partners, that information too.
  • Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited and whether a contact form was sent. We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which tells Meta when you visit our site so we can measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and which may be used to show you our ads. These tools use cookies (see section 8).
  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our font provider (Google Fonts) receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page.

4. Referral memory (browser storage)

If you arrive through a page for one of our referral partners, your browser remembers that partner for 30 days, so our booking link, contact form and WhatsApp message stay connected to the partner who referred you. This is stored only in your own browser. It contains the partner’s name and booking link and the date, and no personal information about you. It is shared with us only if you send our contact form, as a note of which partner referred you. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

5. How we use your information

  • To reply to you and arrange a call.
  • To prepare your custom pro-forma and explain your options.
  • To help you open your account with a currency partner and coordinate your payments.
  • To keep records of your transactions and our communications.
  • To follow up on your inquiry by email, and occasionally by text message at the number you give us. Our follow-up and update emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or telling us.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Your currency partner, with your authorization, for account opening, transaction coordination, regulatory compliance (including identity and anti-money-laundering checks) and related administrative purposes.
  • The partner who referred you, if you came to us through a referral partner: we may let them know you got in touch.
  • People involved in your transaction, such as your real estate agent, notario or builder, only with your permission and only as needed to coordinate payment timing.
  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel), booking calendar (Calendly), email (Google Workspace), website hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Meta). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A successor business, if MexEdge is ever merged, acquired or sold, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

7. Call recordings

We record most of our calls and video calls, and may use a service to transcribe them, so we have an accurate record of what was discussed and can follow up correctly. We’ll let you know at the start of a call when it’s being recorded. If you’d prefer not to be recorded, just tell us.

8. Cookies

Google Analytics and the Meta pixel set cookies, small files stored in your browser, to measure visits and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works without them. Our own referral memory (section 4) uses your browser’s storage, not a cookie.

9. Other websites

Our site links to other websites and services, including Calendly, WhatsApp, YouTube, news articles, our referral partners’ sites, and our currency risk quiz at solutions.mexedge.com. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

10. How long we keep it

We keep client documents and records for about one year after your last transaction, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We keep contact details and messages from people who aren’t clients for as long as we’re in touch, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Your currency partner keeps its own records under its own policies and legal obligations.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we share documents with currency partners only for the purposes above. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send identity documents through our contact form; we’ll tell you the secure way to provide them.

12. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing, by emailing info@mexedge.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We may need to keep some information to meet legal obligations, and information held by your currency partner is governed by that partner’s own privacy policy.

13. Where your information is processed

MexEdge operates in the United States and Mexico, and our service providers may store information in the United States and other countries. By contacting us or using our services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.

14. Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
